Section 75 claim

Hi all, I had artificial grass installed October time and have had issues ever since. I submitted a section 75 claim in January and have got to the point where they will attempt a charge back. I only made partial payment on my credit card and the remainder was paid on my partner's credit card as I wasn't home. Will this require a separate section 75 claim via her bank or should I just be able to reclaim all costs via my own claim ? Many thanks in advance for any help provided.

You can approach either card for section 75.

However, you say they are doing a chargeback rather than section 75, so you will need a chargeback from each card for the appropriate amounts.

Thanks for this. Yes it seems they will be trying for a chargeback first, frustrating in a way as it doubles the amount of work from our end. I guess we will have to wait and see if the chargeback is successful.

Actually I think it is more complicated than this. Who ordered the grass and whose name was the invoice in?. You cannot both claim- only the person named on the invoice can claim and only for the amount they paid. Others on here may well correct me.
