Has anyone ever used these means to upgrade their home?
Did you find it fair, a bit of a con, etc?
Just curious to know as my social feeds are littered with ads after Googling "New Windows".
Thank you

Some grants available under the Energy Company Obligation scheme, but these are generally limited to low income households. If you are seeing adverts that use phrases such as "window scrappage scheme", you can be assured that it is a con marketing pitch for overpriced windows. Some local councils might be running energy efficiency schemes, but eligibility will be restricted and funds rapidly drying up - They wouldn't be advertised on your social media feeds either.
You are probably being targeted by lead generation companies who will sell your information on to cold calling outfits and you'll be plagued by them for the next 10-20 years.
