Leaving Social Energy what happens to Duracell Battery

Has anyone left Social Energy, if so what happened with your battery?
I’m enquiring on behalf of my sister in law, she has no gas installed at her house, she has an electric boiler for heating and an electric hot water tank . She also has Solar PV and a Duracell Energy Bank battery. Currently she is with Social energy and is looking to save money by changing supplier and going on a time of use tariff such as Octopus agile or Octopus Go
We were looking at her setup and the battery is a bit of a unknown, the battery looks like it has a social energy controller and only they have access to it, i can't find any info on management access to these Duracell Energy bank batteries. So we don't know what happens with the battery management if she leaves Social Energy.
Before we make further enquires with Social Energy i wondered if anyone had through the process of changing supplier from Social energy and what happens with the battery?
