I need some advice here. I've been with Vodafone for years and on PAYG for few years now.. I mainly use my mobile for texting (UK and worldwide) and more for emergency calls and receiving. But i've found the texts are quite expensive (especially non uk) and i end up putting almost 15/20pounds every month.. Can you think of a better deal i should go for? I would like to keep my number and it has to be a network ok for Europe.
Thanks for your help.

you can get an o2 card that gives you 300 texts if you top up £10 each month, and you still get the £10 for call credit. dont know if this includes texts overseas though?0

how about texting through the web? have you tried that? The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket. :rolleyes:0

No idea about International txting, try a google for say "spain txt internet" maybe (or whatever country/s you're txting to), for UK txt try https://www.cbfsms.com, i've been using it for years (although I've got enough free txt on my contract that I don't use it much anymore!)0

get a extras text pack.... top up one of the amounts below
500 for £15 text 15TEXT to 2345
675 for £20 text 20TEXT to 2345
for your calls (ANYTIME ANY NETWORK MINS)
£15 for 100 mins 15VOICE to 2345
£25 FOR 200 mins 25VOICE to 2345
buying an extra pack for mins allows you after 7.30PM till 7.30AM to use 3 of your extra pack mins and the next 57 are free as part of Vodafones Stop the clock deal, if I have confused you more info here :-

I have an o2 300 free text sim and when my parents were in portugal for 3 months I texted them. I was never charged for those texts they just came out of my free text allowance.
They were on Virgin and Orange
Not sure if it always the case but it worked for me.Its better to be late in this life than early in the next one.
