Backing up 80 hours of Sky+ Harddrive?

Over the last couple of years I've built up a stash of my TV work on Sky + HD set (as the MSG technically works at sky we count at staff rates - hoorah).
Yet in case I ever need them for a showreel I want to record them off onto somewhere else as easy back up. The problem is we're talking 80 odds hours.
Can anyone thing of an easy way to get the files and record them without labouriously playing the whole thing out onto individual DVDs on a DVD recorder.
Any thoughts gratefully appreciated.

if you have a dvd recorder, you may well be better off using that, using scart leads, and a lot less trouble, time and effort with better results than the PC route especially if you don't have a tv card installed in your PC.
This appears to be the preferred route of the sky aficionados0 -

Copy programs to your PC hard disk for viewing later
...I'm a little confused what it can do, and this is surely what most people want to do? It appears to only create a copy of it so you can write it onto another sky+ HDD.0 -

Its for upgrading the Sky box to a larger capacity hard drive, while keeping all your old programs. Im not really too sure how useful it would be, as you wouldnt be able to view the backup HD in anything but a Sky box, and you'd also have to dismantle your Sky box.
I dont think theres any way of recording from a Sky box any faster than real time."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0
