You can put money in as you like, in addition to the autosave.

Yeah the 25 quid bonus is separate but I've got no idea when that gets paid because now you mention it I do suspect that £28.44 is probably interest rather than anything to do with the bonus itself.

I received my Chip bonus today.  £20 instead of £25.  Not sure what happened to other £5 given that my balance has always been 10k.  Would be interested to hear if other people got the full £25.

I signed up 24th March.
Made a series of deposits to £10,000.
Received a £29.60 "bonus" of 1.25% interest on 29 June.
Today I've received two lots of £20, so £40 total. I was only expecting £25.

ETA Well what do you know. I checked again today and they've removed the extra £20! Cheeky sods.

Does anyone know when this £25 bonus was removed please?
Checking https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest/#chip now, I cannot find any reference to the £25, and I opened the account in late May and do not remember seeing the reference either.
