You might be fine OP but time will tell.
The fact you will need to wear a mask when onboard the ferrry well this is a compromise to be made and one I'd be happy to make as then you have something to look forward to as the accomodatoon is booked.

You booked a ferry to transport you. What experience were you were expecting?  Brittany Ferries are under no obligation to make it fun just for you. Health and safety comes first.
    There's always one.
Yes, and in this case it’s you. Of course safety comes first in a pandemic, that’s just common sense.
Sorry about your holiday, but hopefully they’ll give you a voucher you can use in future :)

Bizarre question. You didn't book an 'experience' with BF. You booked a ferry. Transport for you and your vehicle from A to B. If they fulfil that, they've discharged their contractual obligation to you.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yes I have done it twice, once pre and once last august! Didn’t really notice a difference to the overall experience and certainly wouldn’t consider it a cruise at any time
of the year. It’s not marketed as a cruise liner.. it’s a ferry

Wore masks in common areas and while walking around the ship. Free to take masks off when seated. No biggie at all.
