Do they have to tell you about neighbour issues? What is the recourse if they don't? My cousin bought a house on an estate which looked lovely when they viewed, but turned out to have huge issues with antisocial behaviour. As in eggs thrown at her and her husband and even her young kids, stone through the window and constant harassment. The vendor didn't mention a word of it to them, and I thought this was just unlucky. Should they have declared it?Redwino222 said:

if it helps, tap up an email to the estate agent asking the direct questions about why the vendor doesn’t Think you should proceed with the survey - have they found a new home, has their offer been accepted and are The proceeding? Do they need more time, or is there a separate issue that means they are having second thoughts about proceeding.

You have to declare if you have made a complaint against a neighbour.
horrible system because is people can afford to move they will do so rather than complain. If you complain about neighbours you might have trouble selling.
Did the vendor say there were no complaints, and were there complaints? It’s a tricky one to prove. I always ask around rather than rely on the form.0 -
won't achieve anything, it will probably go straight into the recycling bin. Wasted stamp and time writing it. You can't claim the cost back.rik111 said:

Ah, that's what I was afraid of. It's a shame as we looked at two other nice properties that have since sold. There aren't any other similar properties on the local market currently so it all feels very doom and gloom now. We called the EA yesterday and she said not to worry and that the vendor was actively looking for a property but said that maybe we should keep looking ourselves. I kind of took that to be a nice way of saying that the vendor will likely be pulling their property from the market. It’s such a shame as there is a huge void of properties with what we were looking for now and before we had our offer accepted there were quite a few we would have gone for.Redwino222 said:

Yeah. I wish they would come out and say it. My parter is still hopeful It might work out but I’m not anymore. I’m hoping some other properties become available but things are vanishing now within hours of being listed. It will have to calm down. These things go in waves. When we're talking about a vendor 'choosing' a buyer we know things have become ridiculous and that a swing is due.1

Sounds like the vendor saw a property they liked but by the time they had an offer and were proceedable that property was SSTC and if they can't find another property they like they will stay put.SianlikesF1 said:
