Repairing water damaged ceiling board

Hi
I have my bathroom subfloor up ready to replace and there’s a corner of the Gyproc ceiling board that’s water damaged.
Leak was from the loo.
It’s long been dried out but has swelled and flaked and the damage is visible downstairs. The underside can be addressed when I plaster the ceiling downstairs but would like to repair the other side under the subfloor.
Just wondering if there’s a suitable putty or something to patch it up and strengthen it.
Any help appreciated.

Once plasterboard has gotten wet to the point of losing integrity, the only viable repair is to cut out the damaged section and replace it. The patch you have doesn't look bad enough to warrant cutting out - A bit of filler and stain blocking paint will hide the damage.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Thanks for the replies.
I’ll use some filler on the floorboard side.0
