Bought swimwear online but refused a refund?

Hello,
I was hoping for some advice.
I recently purchased a large online
order including some swimwear items from a large well known retailer. They don't all fit me so I'd like to return them. The retailer has advised me that I can't return these for a full refund as they state that they don't accept "underwear" to be returned which they are classing this as. All items are in original packaging with labels and hygiene liners still in. I have notified the retailer within 7 days of the order arriving that I wanted to return these items for a full refund. They've stated that if I return these items, a refund will not be given and instead, the item will be posted back to me.

Am I wrong in assuming that under the Consumer Rights Regulations 2015 if a purchase was made online, even if it were swimwear, the item could be cancelled and returned within 28 days for a full refund? Any ideas what I should do?

Thanks in advance.

    Is this a UK retailer?
If so you are correct that you can cancel the entire order for a refund. So long as the hygiene seals are intact they have no grounds for refusing a refund.

If you are not returning the entire order per the CCRs then you’re bound by their returns policy.
