Books for a wibur smith fan?

I want to get my dad a book for Christmas - I know he likes Wilbur Smith, but he's read all of them, and I'm not sure what else he likes. Can anyone suggest any other authors of a similar type?
Thanks

Think he's probably gone through most of those as well - are there any more recently published ones you can think of?

Yes, I suppose AM has been around for a while ... try asking in an independent bookshop if there's one near you, they'll probably know their stuff. Or look through the action section on Ebay or Amazon.

Would he like those SAS type books by Andy McNab etc?

He might do - the idea is if I can find someone new for him, it'll keep me going for prezzies for him for the next year or two!

My Dad used to read these authors and always found them to be good.
