Unknown Credit Card

I have recently received a compensation payment from my bank for mis sold PPI on the credit card I held with them.Within the final response letter they have stated that they have found insufficient evidence that PPI was held on an unknown credit card.
Within the calculation of compensation the interest charged at 15% which relates to payments made prior to 1st April 1993 only amounts to £0.05.
My credit card with the bank started 6th October 1988 and it would therefore suggest that they are unable to locate details for the period from 6th October 1988 to 1st April 1993.
They state that without additional details they are unable to investigate further.I do not have any further details apart from the above. Should I pursue this matter for further redress and if I do is it likely to prejudice the compensation payment already made. Is there any risk involved in asking the bank to reopen my case and is the compensation payment already made safe.

The offer won't change whether you accept it or not. But if you have no information and they have no information, there is no point in either of you reopening the case.0

If you hold no details and the card provider holds no details, then how you are going to pursue further redress?
The redress is a refund of premiums paid. If no evidence of premiums paid exists then there is nothing to refund.

Unless you have a time machine so you can go back and retain the evidence required you have no hope.
