Just as well it's not your DPC as it's in the wrong place. Should be next to the external skin.1

Also Aerogel, Right ill write that down thankyou!You can get a foaming grab adhesive - https://www.screwfix.com/p/dow-insta-stik-expanding-foam-grab-adhesive-gun-grade-750ml/72793 - Works quite well with insulated plasterboard. You still want to use a mechanical fixing regardless of sticking method (foam or dot'n'dab) - https://www.screwfix.com/p/timco-insulation-fixings-90-x-8mm-100-pack/297kf (but use one with a plastic head).That Aeogel stuff, whilst pretty good, is darned expensive. Your call if you think it worthwhile.
