Amid all the press speculation in recent weeks regarding the possible Cockwell flotation, It's appears that it is now definately to go ahead. Contact details for obtaining a prospectus are still a bit vague but I have managed to find an address to write to for an application pack. It is:
Ms. Ivy Keeps, The Cockwell Inn, Tillit, Herts.
No post code I'm afraid (i did write it down but then could not read my own writing!).
I have spoken to the registrar, and she says it will be a matter of all being patient as, due to social distancing, there is only her physically in the office to deal with all the applications. She did assure me she would do her level best to ensure all applicants would be attended to though. She asked me not to post the Tel.no. on any forum as her hands would be too full to answer the phone on top of everything else.
This is a great opportunity for us smaller chaps to get in before the Big Boys for once. Dont miss out.

With an opportunity of this calibre I would be most surprised if they were not. Speed is of the essence in my view - the 'early bird catches the worm' and all that.0

There will be quite a few pubs that are struggling to stay afloat at the moment and, while I have a huge amount of sympathy for the good pubs that are struggling, that sympathy does not extend to a wish to risk my hard earned savings.0 -
