I Am new to the above thus need to know what amount is for husband and wife
and which is best as investment ISA only or ISA and shares and if fixed is best for 2 yrs and any offer unlimited access to pot

The data is stored under your NI number. So, you have a contribution allowance each of £20,000 allowing a total of £40,000and which is best as investment ISA only or ISA and shares
There is no one best option that fits all. It depends on how you want to invest, what software functionality you want and amounts involved along with how you value service.

An economic cycle is around 10 years+ So, that is the sort of timescale you should be looking at as a minimum. You could get away with a bit less 5-7 years+ but time dilutes the risk. Short term increases the risk.
