Am very tempted but never heard of this site unitl yesterday.0 -
David69,
Over the next couple of years stores will be unloading loads of unsold analogue tuner tvs etc at bargain prices. As analogue switch off comes around your areas.
So If you are a Sky or cable user, or dont mind an extra box besides the telly I bet you will get a 37" branded set for £300 by this time next year. and in about 5 years that should be the normal price, unless the financial world goes pear shaped.

Hello again......
Good to know that other people have the same thoughts and dilemas like me...should I buy?...should I wait?....is this the one?....
then again.....if you wait and wait, yes prices will come down but the new technology will always be a few steps ahead and the old (but now cheap) models will not be satisfying anymore......
I think I am ready to get this, given the many +ve reviews the Hanns have all over the internet! The price is the best price I have seen for this specific model and i dont think it will go much cheaper in the sales....do you?
The question is this however: HAS ANYONE DEALT WITH CLEARANCE BUYS??? WHAT ARE THEY LIKE?0 -

yes was gonna buy the model without the digital tuner for £300 from ebuyer but this is a steal at £310.
Am in the same boat as you as i have never dealth with this company before so not sure, or wait and pay £340 from ebuyer.0 -
In my experience Clearancebuys are excellent.
I bought a 37" Hanspree from them. Ordered on a weekend and got an email mid-day Monday apologising that, due to a problem with their computer system, they would not be able to deliver the next day but would deliver on the Wednesday instead. Since I was not expecting next day delivery for what I paid I was not too disappointed.
The TV turned up on Wednesday as promised.0 -
I looked at hannspree you can get the 37in for about £360 not got a digital tuner on but the reviews are mixed but the trouble is it's a bit like reading the holidays uncovered reviews before you go on holiday you get to a stage where you want to cancel the holiday slighty off topic but true0

A month or so ago when these were just under £300 everywhere I nearly bought one, and spent hours hunting out reviews. Most reviews were excellent, but an awful lot of them went along the lines of "Excellent value for money, but the sound isn't all that" or "Brilliant buy, but the blacks are backlit" etc.
I decided that it was exceptional value for money, but not as good as a better known or established brand.
I ended up grabbing an LG from Dixons for £379 (offer gone now) and am delighted with it."If a man says something, but there is no woman to hear him, is he still wrong?"0 -

first impressions are very good although yet to connect sky or dvd player up, keen to see what hd looks like
build quality is excellent, menus intuitive, remote quite good although maybe a tad slow response time

freeview pic very good

overall very pleased with purchase and well done to clearance buys for speedy delivery by ups
would recommend as a good buy on first impressions, imagine that hd content will be much much better
