Car Tax Fine Under Wrong Name

So I haven’t driven my car in a while, it ran out of MOT in September and ran out of tax in February and I sent off a SORN letter. I’ve now received a letter saying I’ll be fined because I never taxed my vehicle. So I’m guessing they never received my SORN notification. But that’s not the biggest issue here. They have sent me the tax fine with the wrong last name. Not even close to my real name. What do you do in this situation? Surely they can’t pursue the fine as it’s not my name on the letter? Has anyone else ever had any issues with this?

Check your name is correctly stated on the vehicle's Registration Document (V5c) then, as above, head over to Pepipoo.4
