Apply the same thought as if you were selling it privately, and who sells a car with scraped alloys??

Pretty much anyone selling a used car, most people aren't going to care enough and the impact on the sale price is lower than the cost of the alloy refurb.
And if they are still safe and functional, why would anyone bother replacing them?
    It's hardly "pretty much anyone".....
It suggests a general lack of care and, if I see a car with scuffed alloys, I'm definitely going to think about costs for getting tracking/alignment done.
So I'm wanting money off for alloy repairs AND an alignment check.
Don't you take pride in your car and repair scuffed alloys?
If you did it on day one, would you just drive around on scuffed alloys for years???
