Compensation for mis sold loan leading to CCJ
A few months back one of the pay day loans that I had out (uncle buck) had gone into administration and I had an email off the company that had taken over that the loan had been mis sold and had a refund. This loan ended up in a CCJ which has damaged my credit file. Does anyone think that I am owed any more compensation or anything as this loan was mis sold.
I contacted the company that had taken over and they said there aren’t enough funds left for anymore refunds. I briefly contacted the financial ombudsman and they said there’s not much I can do as the company went into administration.
just wondering if anyone thinks I can take this further in anyway or not?
thank you in advance

Even if you can you're just throwing good money after bad.
The company went bust and has no money. Can't get blood out of a stone and all that.2 -
No - I don't see an opportunity to claim more compo. The company is already dead and buried.0

The financial ombudsman says no, who are kinda the authority on this kind of thing, so I doubt a bunch of strangers on an Internet forum can do any better.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I assume you got a CCJ cos you did not pay it back. Not because you got a loan that you should not have been offered.2

All of the replies on here are nonsense.
Nobody has answered your question and have just given their opinions, nothing factual.
You asked if you are entitled to redress and can you do anything about this. You may be and you certainly can .
Uncle buck were forced to shut down in 2020 by the FCA due to unfair illegal practices, they were told they are no longer allowed to lend money. I like you have a ccj registered by an insolvent company that has been shut down for breaking the law.
If you check the administrators website who are now dealing with their customers, you will see the FCA has determined factors on whether or not you will eligible for compensation. One of the FCA stipulations also is that any adverse credit file information against you is removed if you meet the required criteria. If you do you need to file a claim with the administrators. You will probably get very little back as theres no money in the pot, however I would argue with the administrators that they need to contact the court, and pay the court fee to remove the judgement . This will be £100.

Also nothing in your post is factual, it is just your opinion.2
