5p to add a hologram to a fake item and box.

The OEM factory items may have 9 holes, or it may have some holes not fully drilled. Probably an effort to reduce
stock items. Make a 9 hole disc and it fits a 4 and 5 stud hub. One part for several models.

Yeh mine have the 9 holes, all fully drilled, just a bit confusing when their specs say 5.
So by all accounts then, the Discs are 100% genuine
    Who's they, GSF or Brembo?

On the link your provided from Brembo the pic shows 9 holes and on the same page it says number of holes are 5. There's nothing to worry about, you've got genuine parts.

I received my Brembo Discs today,so fast delivery time. They are for wifes Audi A3,rear discs.
The Brembo ones for her rear braking system rear are 08.B413.11
It states the number of holes as 5,when in fact there is 9,plus the screw hole. When googling for fakes that is one thing that gets mentioned.
When I scan the barcode on the box, that comes back as genuine, with a serial number, the centre piece of the Hologram on the box appears to change when holding up to the light, all markings on the Discs appear okay.
So only the holes on discs wrong, 9 not 5.
    Thoughts on this anyione?

Instead of us guessing can you provide link to the ones you actually bought from GSF?

So GSF specifies the number of holes as 9 whereas Brembo themselves show the same picture of a disc with 9 holes but states 5 on their website. Sounds like a simple misprint to me, as said, nothing to be concerned about.

So, I eventually had these Brembo discs along with a new set of Brembo pads fitted by my local mechanic back at the end of last November.

I noticed a bit of brake scouring when stopping when the car was being used from cold each time it was driven and was worried something wasn’t right but everything on the Corsa/Vauxhall forums was saying that was normal and nothing to worry about.

I had the Corsa back into the garage today, to investigate a rattling noise and got his to re-examine the breaks. The inner discs were badly pitted and scoured and the mechanic is convinced they were fakes.

He has fitted new Bosch Discs and Pads and says the brakes are now perfect.

Of course I had to pay for the bits and his labour again so a bit aggrieved not the mechanics fault though.

Your right, the Audi A3 rear discs were fine,so I then went and got new front Discs for my sons Corsa D and have have now been told they are fake and have now been swopped out for new Bosch ones.

Both sets of Brembo Discs were purchased from GFC Car Parts.

Highly unlikely a mechanic would know the difference between real and fake brake parts. Was it the same mechanic that fitted the original discs and pads?  Pitting suggests irregular use. Pitting on one side of the disc suggests sticking calipers or incorrect fitment.
Have you contacted GSF or Brembo about this?

"Both sets of Brembo Discs were purchased from GFC Car Parts."
    Are you sure?

Both sets of discs purchased from GFC Car Parts (Ebay Shop) at different times.

Buying them from their Ebay Shop was far cheaper price that straight from their own website, that is why I was originally so suspicious that they were fakes.

The Audi discs had the hologram on the box, the Corsa ones didn’t,I contacted Brembo support at the time and sent them the photos and they assured me they would be fine.

So not GSF. Have you contacted Brembo support about the problem? Were they fitted by the same mechanic who claimed they were fakes? Did you suggest to him they were fakes?
