Remortgaging with a dead line court order
mount
Hi problem is following final court hearing on divorce have had to remortgage in order to buy ex partner out. Given a dead line to do this but the remortgage process is slow and have run out of time. The ex's solicitor has accused me of delay on purpose. The truth is application is ongoing and taken longer to complete. Can I be forced to sell. I am just waiting and I cant make it go any faster. What should I do?

Why would you be forced to sell? That would be substantially slower than just completing the remortgage.0

When was the final court hearing and how long did they give you?

Is the mortgage company aware of your deadline?Have you talked to your solicitor about the problem? Have you/they asked the court for more time, always assuming that the mortgage company is working as fast as practical?0
