Timing Belt/DPF Question

Hi can i ask for some advise please?
I currently drive a 2015 Renault Megane 1.5 diesel with 41k miles on the clock.
Is my engine a timing belt or chain and if it is the belt when was this meant to be changed and if so how much roughly would this cost? (Located Glasgow)
Also does my car have a DPF Fitted? My mileage has dropped for the past year however the DPF light has never came on to suggest its blocked or near full and I'm slightly worried that with the low mileage it could block? (All town driving)
Thank you

Definitely a cam belt, AFAIK Renault say change at 6 years or 72K (whichever comes first). Almost certainly has a DPF but I had a 65' Qashqai with the same engine (it is still in the family) and although I ended up doing low milage in the last few years never had an issue.0

Definitely a DPF.
We'd no issues with a DPF equipped Clio in town driving for years either, perhaps Renault are just good at handling regenerations.

Thank you for your comments! I’ll certainly phone up the garage and get them to replace the timing belt and water pump at the same time, It’s also good to hear about the DPF situation!Mortgage Starting Balance - £158,000.00

I’m in the same situation with a 2015 1.5 dci with 36k on the clock. Renault dealer says it was due at the last service but want 400 for the cambelt and then it was another 200ish to do the water pump at the same time so i decided not to bother as going to trade the car in. It spat an injector last month leaving us stranded. When I got it originally this was one of the engines I sought because the dpf rarely gives any issue.0
