Vueling refunds

Does anyone know how to swap a Vueling flight credit to a refund. We were due to fly May 2020, they contacted us and offered only a credit, now they’re saying it’s our fault for accepting it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading 👍🏻

Generally companies issuing credits/vouchers to customers won't buy them back for cash, so the only time to get a cash refund is by rejecting voucher offers at the original time of fight cancellation, unless there's anything in Ts & Cs that suggests otherwise....

I'm also trying to get a refund, or activate my credit. Flight cancelled by Vueling due to COVID in 2020, 3 years on the credit is due to expire. Trying to change it to use it online is impossible- doesn';t recocgnise the booking code; trying to contact customer services- does not give option to ask this question then crashes. Trying to phone them- no answere.
