Remove gloss white from internal brick.

in In my home (includes DIY) MoneySaving
As title really.....I have a sunroom with a dwarf rustic brick wall and the previous owner has made a right mess when painting the surrounding woodwork. It's not on every brick but on a number in contact with the wood. How best could I remove this.
