Advice on where to list

Right I have aquired a whole load of mobile phone chargers, but it seems that the correct place to list them is already swamped with the same items, so what are people's view on listing them in the right section, but not the correct sub section?

I am trying to understand why you would want to list an item outwith it's correct section?

For me, I search two ways with the most common method being by description. The second method is by section and rarely used. Thus, as I see it, and based on selling experience also, as long as the description of the goods is spot on, someone who is loooking for that item, will find that item regardless of where it is listed.

Specific to mobile phone chargers, surely this is the kind of thing where 95% of users will search by description, with the odd section browser?

I was thinking more along the lines of putting it in the main section rather than the charger sub section, the main section gets lots more traffic, thus giving me exposure.

That's why the nokia, playstation, and ipod sections recieve so many of the things like wholesale lilsts, gambling ebooks, and other crap.
