Came across this competition which a garden centre is running and thought I'd share it. It seems simple enough. You basically need to guess which cocktail each image depics and which movie the cocktail is from.

They are giving away a good prize too.

Hugsi said:Beat me to it, got the same answers. My suggestion for 4 and 8:
4) Old Fashioned - Mad Men
8) Chianti - Silence of The LambsThe first poster for the film showed Thurman smoking from a box of Lucky Strike cigarettes, but Miramax hadn’t purchased the proper usage rights. Lucky Strike threatened to sue, so Miramax returned the posters. Any of those posters that are still out there today are each worth hundreds of dollars.8) Chianti famously features in the film, but it isn't a cocktail. The "Hanibal Lecter" cocktail appears to have been created in tribute to the film so is probably wrong.

- Which iconic cocktail or drink the image depicts.... i think therefore Chianti is acceptable ....

I wondered if no. 4 could be a Harvey Wallbanger, based on the pic of the drink and fact that Harvey Keitel is in Pulp Fiction. Bit cryptic though!4
-
Could no.5 be The Shining although I'm not what he drank at the bar but the bar did look familiar?4

Is cocktail number 4 a Negroni ( Campari ) ?2
