Bath waste pipe question

Hi
Before I install my bathroom subfloor, I need to seal some old bidet connection pipes. The cold on the right I can hopefully take out and the hot I can fit a compression cap. I take it that an unused hot feed is ok to leave and just cap.
The bidet waste pipe needs plugging too although there’s not much room to detach it.
Thinking one of these would do:

Otherwise I could detach the pipe at the bath and fit a new section.
Just wondering what would be best.
Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure why you have started another thread on this, but the previous answer about Legionella risk on dead-leg bit of pipe still applies, potentially more so on a hot pipe.0

It was more for waste pipe info but seemed to have brought the dead legs topic back in.
Forgot to mention the hot feeds the bath so the dead leg is about 5-6 inches.
The waste pipe joints are probably solvent welded so will have to cut it and fit new pipe and T section.

Modifying the waste pipe might be best left to a plumber but if anyone has done anything like this this, any tips would be welcome.
The vertical pipe and adapter is surplus to requirements but need to retain the lower one for the sink drain.
Basically just need one adapter in the grey pipe.

Think I’ve figured it out. Just need some solvent weld, 40mm plastic pipe, couplings, right angle adapter and hacksaw.0
