No guarantee on my Aliexpress purchase at shop "Serve-BBetter Store"
No guarantee on my Aliexpress purchase
The site announces to comply with the European legal
guarantee of two years, but in reality, this is not worth anything. As a
result, when things went wrong, the purchase price can be lost.
My experience with the shop "Serve-BBetter Store":
I have bought a cheap mixer table with many functions. A month after having
received the item I noticed that the function of recording the microphone input
to a PC was not correctly fulfilled. Many noises in the file could not be
ignored. Obviously, they didn’t want to understand.
I understand the difficulty the shop had to refund me, without possibility to return the item to china for reason of high postage feed. My shop tried not to pay out any cent.
Knowing, this, I made the proposition to refund me at least for 50% when the proposed 5 $. Finally, they agreed to refund me for 50%.
But this famous button "Open dispute" was no more active, because the side aliexpress.com had closed this function 15 days after delivery.
My shop «Serve-BBetter Store", has only 80% satisfaction and should be called "NO Serve-BadStore" instead. The shop said sorry to me, that they could not refund me even for the offered 5 $ and they asked me to address all that to the side aliexpress.com, what I did without reaction.
As far as I am concerned, my opinion on these Chinese affairs is changing. In my case of warranty, the promise of a 2-year European warranty is true in theory, but not in reality.
Of course, they are other shops and other circumstances where it works, but not with
The shop "Serve-Better Store",
Generally, China’s trade policy is an unequal partnership. China first!
There is also a political question: Should we support a dictatorship that is becoming more and more aggressive towards the rights of neighboring countries? The conquest of Taiwan is when? (Hong Kong is already under the yoke of the Communist Party)
When will it be our turn not to dare to oppose such intentions and practices?
In any case, I will limit my purchases in the future to these cheap items, prices of 10 or 20 € and will not wonder to lose these amounts in some cases.
Best regards

There is no such thing as a "2 year European warranty" it's often referred to but doesn't really exist.
In England you have six years to legally go back to a retailer who is subject to English law. But after the first 6 months, it is on the consumer to obtain proof it is a manufacturing defect.

You don't need to buy from them at all. By continuing to do so you are doing what you question others about doing

You bought cheap from a Chinese site to save money, and it didn't work this time unfortunately.
Buy cheap, buy twice as they say - next time I'd shell out for a decent bit of kit from a proper UK company. You'll have the support if anything does go wrong.1
