Lastminute.com refusing refund

Hi, I booked a flight back from Turkey to UK through lastminute.com back in Feb 2020. I rebooked for April 2021. I received an email saying it comes with Flex insurance. I received an email saying that they’ve cancelled my flight and thought I had clicked on for a refund. Lastminute.com claim I have not and they automatically rebooked me on to another flight as the email states if there is no response, they will book me on to another flight
They are saying I am not eligible for any refund/ vouchers apart from rebooking. The t&cs are for flex insurance. Is this true? Are they allowed to do this? Is there anything I can do?

Show them your proof of cancelation which you will have received by email.
If not you are subject to their terms for not responding in a certain timeframe.0 -
When have they rebooked you for? This might be cancelled as well. Unless you can prove you requested a refund then will be difficult for you to now cancel the flight that has been booked and get a refund.0
