Lastminute.com refusing refund

Hi, I booked a flight back from Turkey to UK through lastminute.com back in Feb 2020. I rebooked for April 2021. I received an email saying it comes with Flex insurance. I received an email saying that they’ve cancelled my flight and thought I had clicked on for a refund. Lastminute.com claim I have not and they automatically rebooked me on to another flight as the email states if there is no response, they will book me on to another flight :/ 


They are saying I am not eligible for any refund/ vouchers apart from rebooking. The t&cs are for flex insurance. Is this true? Are they allowed to do this? Is there anything I can do?

    Show them your proof of cancelation which you will have received by email.
    If not you are subject to their terms for not responding in a certain timeframe.
  • When have they rebooked you for?   This might be cancelled as well.  Unless you can prove you requested a refund then will be difficult for you to now cancel the flight that has been booked and get a refund.
