Hi all,
So this is a bit of a long one, so bear with me
I am now in the process of renovating a property I own now that the tenant has left and am looking to move it to it before the new school year. However before I move in there is a lot of work I want to get done so that I enjoy living there. Currently I have no idea how long I will end up living there for, so I am planning on renovating to a point that I know I will be comfortable for at least 5 years - may well be longer depending on schooling options for my daughter.

So the house is a 4-6 Bed Detached Home - 2 floors on front and 3 at the back.
  • Entrance Level - Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen, Double Garage, WC.
  • First Floor - Family Bathroom, 4 Bedrooms (1 which is ensuite)
  • Lower Ground - Two Bedrooms - Shower Room (with Toilet and sink) and Utility Room

I am looking to get the following works done:
  1. Upgrade the Boiler - this will depend on the heating option - as looking into Underfloor Heating for the property
  2. Replace all baths, showers, toilets and sinks
  3. Possibly fit new kitchen
  4. Replace all flooring - Carpets for first floor, Carpet / Laminate / Tile for rest (depending on if I go underfloor heating).
  5. Replace or remove Radiators (again depends on if I go underfloor heating)
  6. Sort the Roof Out - needs, cleaning, guttering etc and lead flashing etc and other stuff.
  7. Whatever else crops up.....
So my question is can anyone recommend some companies to source quotations from for the various bits and pieces.
Note that I have a Semi-retired builder (whom I have worked with before) on board to support and he will be doing a fair bit of the work (where applicable), so apart from the Boiler / Underfloor Heating / Electrics / Roof he will be doing the works around the house.
