Pension stuff all sorted, life insurances checked and altered to suit our needs better and another £200ish over to the holiday fund from side hustle money. Pay day tomorrow so another mortgage OP then too.
    Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
    Emergency fund £1000/£1000

Eurgh, wages were wrong, £300 down due to an admin error (NI change was there too but I knew about that) so that's at least one phone call on Monday to sort it out.

Phoned, got through to a human eventually but need to chase it up now. £6.30 in from a side hustle so moved it into the holiday fund. Set up a new account with our online bank to a better account that pays interest so some will shuffle over each month and just earn us a bit for free while it sits there.

Pension money back so paid another £869 off the mortgage this afternoon and paid a bit more into the holiday fund. Need to get back on track with the savings and cut back on buying extra food all the time but finding it hard with a teenager with hollow legs who eats 24/7!

Plodding rather than running atm, but still paying things down as much as we can. Set up a side savings that gives a higher rate that BFF so the BFF is down a bit but the other fund will be building up. Carrying on overpaying the mortgage each month too. like seeing the numbers in the savings going up and the numbers in the mortgage going down!

Not been on in ages, too much life getting in the way! Mortgage is still going down but not as quickly as we'd planned due to lots of stuff needing to be fixed and a fair bit of chaos as we had two deaths in the family. Just about feel we're starting to see our way through things so time to regroup and focus on what we need to do to pay things off and work out what we're going to do over the next few years to secure our futures.

Still plodding on, mortgage down, savings up. Saving up for some major house building work and a holiday so working hard on side hustles and being frugal despite having a very hungry teenager in the house!

Still plodding on. Finally got mortgage down to under £120k so we're at 50% LTV and fully on repayment. Balancing out overpayments with savings for the time being as we're helping out with uni accommodation fees for a few years yet and there are lots of things to get fixed in the house as well. Still trying to live fairly cheaply so we can make the most of what we have and not have to take out loans or use credit too much.

Down to £118k, still overpaying monthly and enjoying watching the figure go down. Got lots of repairs to do round the house so spending some of our savings on those and then doing as much as we can ourselves to save a few pounds.
