Help with replacing CALEFFI thermostatic radiator head only

Hello ladies and gents
I Hope your all well and staying as safe as you can, I was hoping for some advice please, my problem is I have caleffi thermostatic radiator heads on all my radiators and as there quite old some have yellowed with age, I would like to replace them all but I cannot find anyone who supplies them, I have even had a look at cleaning them on YouTube ( money saving ) but the product used for that might take the markings of the radiator head. Does anyone know where to buy them please or suggest any alternative. Thank you everyone I know you have a fountain of knowledge so hopefully you can help me. I pop back in tomorrow for any suggestions. Hope you all have a brilliant Sunday and not to tired x x

If you know which model the valve is, Caleffi should be able to help. Contact their UK office - https://www.altecnic.co.uk/

TRVs usually have a standard thread, so that you can replace the head with any make. I had these Honeywell contract TRV heads in my house and am very pleased with them as they have large clear markings, and a clip that you can position to show you the 'normal' position if there is someone in the house that is inclined to adjust the TRV away from the temperature you want it set to: Honeywell VT15 Thermostatic Radiator Valve - 15mm - 10305 (bes.co.uk)

The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Don't quote on this, but... I believe there are two "standard" thread sizes. 288mm & 30mm. You also need to watch out for pin lengths. Some valves have a short pin, whilst others are 10mm or so longer.

Thank you all very much, I have taken your advice on board but also texted my son in law who’s a builder he’s said we buy the whole valve and just change the valve head he’s going to pick me up just one from selco and daughter will bring it when she comes over, shall try that for now, god knows why I didn’t ask him before. I will let you know how we get on but not till after the 10th. Huge thank you for your advice x x x
