Facebook warning for scam alerts

I have commented in the past about the number of scams on various Facebook groups and today as usual I posted on a couple of the obvious ones ‘Harvester want to give everyone a free meal and bottle of wine’ sort of thing. I’ve received a yellow card sort of warning from Facebook saying ‘ Your comment goes against our Community Standards on spam’ , and goes on to say ‘ Only people who manage can see this comment.
We have these standards to prevent things such as false advertising, fraud and security breaches.’

Apparently I have the right of appeal , which I’ve done as I don’t want any warnings in my Facebook account as I sell so much on marketplace and know how easy it is to get banned. I am completely taken aback though that a warning that a post is a scam and not to supply any personal details is considered spam . Strangely someone else on a different forum said they got a warning about posting spam for posting on several threads about the fake RM ‘fee to pay’ scam that is doing the rounds, so it looks like the scammers are fighting back!

oh well,  I’d nearly given up bothering trying to warn people as it does just cause arguments with people who truly believe that these things are real, I shall just let them get on with it in future and supply all their personal details to every scammer they want!

My immediate thought is that maybe they have automatic filters for phrases to weed out these scams, which don't distinguish between the actual scam posts and posts warning against them.

I only put 2 warnings up yesterday and I don’t know which one has received the warning. One was definitely for a free meal type thing where someone had responded to me saying it wasn’t fake as their cousin’s wife was a manager and said it was real as the big chains are worried they won’t get people in to fill their seats when they can reopen. I did respond saying the page wasn’t that chain’s page and was set up that same day , the email on the page and the website went to a random person and if you went to the correct page it carried a warning about this very scam.

The other warning was on the ‘celebrity wants to give £10, 000 to the first 500 people who can identify the hidden number’, but those videos get pulled quite quickly as even the gullible people are spotting it isn’t real.
