Advice please😊
Hi all, I am currently in my 12 months DRO which won’t finish until dec this year, I just wondered where I would stand if my child Maintenance is increased? My ex has had a pay rise there fore he will prob pay a little more due to this. This isn’t set in stone but if it puts my DRO in danger shall I refuse the extra? Have no idea how much extra it could possibly be, it’s all done through the child support agency so it’s all accurate but I’m worried now as i do not want anything to screw this up.
Thanks in advance
kaz 😊

The basic criteria of £50 disposable income still stands.
If this increase takes you over that figure, then its reasonable to assume your costs would rise by the same amount.
However, if you don`t want to run the risk of your arrangement failing, postpone the increase or refuse it.
Its best not to rock the boat until your DRO completes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Thanks for your reply that’s what I thought. I do not want this to affect my DRO I would sooner not have the extra than worrying about it’s affecting my DRO.I guess after my 12 months it will be a different story! Thanks again I love this forum thank god for it😊😊0

Maybe your ex could use the extra money to pay for things directly for your kids.2
