Multiple 'Consumer Credit File Request' entries showing when I haven't made these requests

Snuggles said:Hi @thegfb did you ever get anywhere with this? I recently noticed exactly the same issue with Credit Karma. I've used it for years, and they used to carry out the soft search consumer credit file requests once or twice a month, which was when I logged in and requested my report. However over the last three months or so these requests have been made by Credit Karma multiple times per month, sometimes on consecutive days.
I am also getting nowhere with them when asking them why they are doing this, as they seem to think it's nothing to do with them, even though it clearly is!Not really, CK were pretty useless in that they simply didn't understand (or, chose to deliberately ignore) what I was telling them. Transunion were equally poor, dismissing all my disputes searches with a generic response. The searches have continued to appear very frequently despite me changing both my CK email login and password so I am certain its not a result of my account being compromised which was my main concern, but labelling them as 'consumer credit file request' is misleading.1 -

I too have changed my login details but based on your experience it's unlikely to make any difference.
Thanks again for the update.0 -
I’ve been checking into mine regularly because transunion are not updating information for weeks and months which can adversely affect your score. Has anyone else noticed Credit Karma & Transunion are weeks out of date & incorrect?0

Delays happen, CRAs have the same covid impact as everyone else.
If the data is incorrect you should complain to them explaining why as you can escalate to the ICO if they don't fix it.0
