If they do find out what are they going to do if you have been paying the mortgage on time, repossess the property ? I think not...Or as someone else suggested, just take tenants as lodgers, lot safer too as you can turf them out if they play up.
No requirement for her yo live there, just pay the council tax and don't put her on yours.
It just doesn't pay to be too straight and obsessed with pointless rules, as long as your not defrauding anyone or hurting anyone else sod following pointless regulations that no one cares about anyway.0 -
If they find out, presumably they would call in the mortgage, given that it would be a patently intentional breach of the condition when she's been told she cannot let the property. Also just to make their situation even worse you propose, "tenant as a lodger". I've heard of gender dysphoria but this takes the biscuit. Let me put it this way. You call it a lodger, but it smells like a tenant, it sounds like a tenant, it looks like a tenant. It's a tenant.
The implications of this ploy going wrong are dire, and doubly dire when mixed in with the breach of the mortgage terms
