British Gas Evolve Simplicity Energy credit refunds?
Hi, has anyone had their credit from Simplicity Energy refunded yet? I'm currently in the process and trying to be patient.
BGE keep asking me for meter reads but I can't send in meter reads because I don't have an online account with BGE. I don't want an account with BGE because I've already moved elsewhere. So I emailed photos of my meter reads to their email service but I've not had a reply and it's 7 days now. They're now requesting meter reads again in spite of me having already sent them in.
I've just tried calling them on 0330 808 3880 and after being on hold for >50 mins I gave up. If they weren't going to bother answering it would have been nice if they could have just said rather than me hoping someone would pick the phone.

I was forced to switch from Simplicity to BG evolve 16th Feb and saw my “owing” shoot up at an alarming rate. So I tried to switch quickly but it got kicked back. I called BGE and they then allowed a switch. Signed up to Peoples and switched on the 5th April. Simplicity have not issued a FINAL Bill. Nor have BGE passed on the CREDIT from Simplicity. BGE have not issued a final bill, although I am dreading it as it will be dreadfully high.
I have to wait for the two ex utilities to get there paperwork done. Should I stop my DD with BGE?
