I've just received this phone call from the above number saying they're from Martins money saving website as I filled in a form for a quote, worryingly they knew most of my details. Stupidly I gave them my old address and new address and landline number, I filled in my mobile number on the Internet application form. I stopped and got really suspicious when they asked me for my bank sort code and address but not account number. I did ask for any offers to be sent via email which I also stupidly give. Does anyone know if the number above is legitimate and I'm worried as I've given more information than I'd like. Does anyone have any advice for me please?
They're using Martin's name so I thought it was legitimate at 1st but not so sure now. Please help. I'm moving into a new build energy efficient house, I'm registered disabled and need landline, broadband and an efficient energy change for gas and electricity

Obviously you didn't read Martin's warning.

Most numbers can easily be spoofed, so you should never rely on them. It's a valid number allocated to Gamma Telecom, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you were called from that number, they could be an entirely innocent party.  The Golden Rule is never to trust any incoming call that claims to be from Amazon, 'the Bank', BT, HMRC, MasterCard/Visa, Microsoft, Openreach, the NHS etc. Always ask for the name of the person they are calling (many numbers are just dialled at random, so they'll hang up if challenged) and if any information is sought just call back (preferably from a mobile if called on a landline) to the number on your statement.  Never call a number, click on a link or visit a website in response to a cold call or email.
There's not much you can do now except keep an eye on your banks account and the credit rating sites to watch for any direct debits, withdrawals, searches etc that you haven't initiated and to make sure you take much more care in the future.
