IVA help and Annual Review Questions

Hi all,
When my debts got out of control and I started the process of entering into an IVA I suffered a mental health crisis and was off work. Step Change were aware of this, and were fine since I said I would be back to work before the IVA was in place. However when I started back at work they requested I did a phased return to work for the first 3 months and worked only 20 hours instead of my usual 30. My family were topping up my income as my wage only covered the bills and the IVA payment.  At the time as my mental health was pretty bad I hadn't thought to let Step Change know about this. I am now back to my regular 30 hours and am following the budget and receiving no top up money from my family. With my annual review coming up in a few months my question is have I broken the rules? I know I am supposed to give any "windfalls" of money straight to them but I am not sure if the money my family gave me counts, especially since it didn't even take me to my usual wage amount never mind the percentage extra they allow.

This is really effecting my mental health right now, not knowing if I will be kicked out of the IVA after my review and I know I should probably contact them now and explain but I thought I could ask here first. Any help would be appreciated
