Starling Bank and retrieval of funds

Hi all,
I'm hoping somebody can help me out or shed some light on my situation. I had opened a business account with Starling and transferred money from my savings into the account. I was on the phone with a customer service advisor to set up a CHAPs payment to my solicitor in order to complete a property purchase. Account was then frozen - clearly some sort pr trigger was set by the bank's algorithm. I supplied dox when asked and waited patiently for investigations to be done. Anyway, push comes to shove, Starling have closed my account and have said they will return my money. They issued a cheque in the business name. This got sent back as I can't bank it anywhere: my only business account was with them and no other banks are taking on new business accounts (I'm assuming because of unscrupulous people exploiting the Bounce Back Loan scheme). I have requested a bacs payment either to my personal account (where the funds originated) or to my legal team (a business account). It's been 8 weeks and initially kept getting told that they only issue cheques only for them to say they only do.cheques or bacs transfers to business accounts. I'm losing the will at the moment. I haven't done anything wrong and just want to close the property deal and receive my hard earned money. Any advice?
