POFA protects keepers and doesn't apply on airport land due to bylaws , so appeal as keeper using the blue text template from the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum

No blabbing about who was driving , the yellow lines are not the issue here , read other airport threads to see why keepers are not liable on airport land

    incredible bad luck.
Errm, it isn't bad luck.  These companies have people in camera vans lurking and waiting to pounce.  No luck about it.  This is a predatory ticket.

You seem to have missed reading other camera car Airport threads.  There are loads of grounds of appeal for a KEEPER (not driver, of course) including the fact it is byelaws land and that the Airport Byelaws (Google 'em) permit stopping in an emergency.

Maybe she was doing up her seatbelt or maybe there was a short emergency like a fault light on the dashboard. The keeper doesn't know, of course...

You do know cars can stop on  DYL? Why does no-one know this?  Red lines are different but double yellow don't mean 'no stopping'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You should edit the first post.  The PPCs do read these forums.

In normal cases such as public highways vehicles can stop on DYLs and load/unload including passengers, the only exception is where the DYLs are accompanied by side lines at 90 degrees.

    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

Hi @Redx and @Coupon-mad I tried hard to search the forums for keywords like you suggest but I couldn't find information on PCN for airports like Stansted.
I have appealed the PCN and the PPC  have now rejected saying that; "The PCN was issued for the following contravention: Parked in a restricted location during prescribed hours".
I'm about to create my PDF for my POPLA appeal but I just wondered on what grounds I can appeal on? I tried to search for ground to appeal on airport but can't find much. I'm new to the forum so maybe I'm not searching correctly.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks again

If you are searching the forum wrong (and it's not great) Google the words then with the word moneysavingexpert/forum

The search options on here are terrible compared to 12 months ago , but not our fault and little we can do , I think yours is the first Stansted I have seen in over 8 years of me coming here

Read cases for airports using place names or acronyms , such as Southend VCS , Luton Apcoa , Bristol VCS , JLA VCS Liverpool , RHA Doncaster VCS , Newcastle Ukppo etc , there are loads on here , but for Popla the non VCS ones are better , like Luton Apcoa or BHA Birmingham Apcoa , your popla grounds are as follows

    Pofa 2012
    Bylaws
    No keeper liability
    No landowner authority
    Poor and inadequate signage

    Etc
