Hi
We booked a weekend break at efteling Hotel and theame Park back in September 2019 for Easter 2020. Obviously that didn't happen and we moved our booking to this Easter. They are going to be closed over Easter so are offering us a stay in their holiday village, or we can move out dates or they will give us an efteling voucher. My question is do we have to accept one of these options or are we entitled to a full refund? We would rather have the refund as holidays abroad are so up in the air still.

  • Not sure what the stance is in Holland.  I am assuming you booked non refundable rates?  By rights you should be entitled to a refund, as they cannot deliver what you actually booked,  but may prove difficult to obtain one as they are offering so many alternatives.  No harm in asking though.

As it is unlikely that you will be able to travel to Holland at Easter (for pleasure ) your insurance may step up if you have appropriate cover (check terms carefully)

Other than that I would just accept a rebooking for next year. 🤞 we are back to normal..ish by then.
