GoGroopie ripped me off - What are my consumer rights?

I bought an item from GoGroopie, only £16 plus £6 p+p. When it broke - because it was poorly designed - I complained and, after they ignored the first 3 complaints they just evaded my questions and refused to engage constructively with me. I am so cross that I am thinking of taking them to small claims court. My question is, 'Do I have the same consumer rights as if I'd bought the item from a shop, or does the GoGroopie business model, where they sell you a voucher which you have to redeem, limit those rights. In particular, are GoGroopie obligated to provide a refund or replace an item if it is within within 6 months of purchase, or can they use their business model to subvert this? They told me that I was not eligible for a refund because thier terms and conditions say you can only get a refund if you return the item within 14 days of receiving it.

You bought a voucher. Nothing else. Your complaint is against the vendor you redeemed the voucher with.

£22 is likely to be considered "de minimis" by the court.

GoGroopie will sell one a voucher for £6.99 plus £2.99 P+P, which can be exchanged for a set of baggage scales.  The same baggage scales can be bought from a normal retailer for £3.54.  
GoGroopie claim that the baggage scales once retailed for £19.99!

They did, in fact, they are still being advertised at £19.99:

Those two items are not identical.

If you ordered goods via Gogroopie and they turned out to include forgeries (as my order did), your bank can recover your money irrespective of transaction amount. 

I'm going to start a new thread as soon as I can to help fellow victims erm, I mean 'customers' of Gogroopie but, it applies equally for wariness of other crooks.
