Fuel Prices incorrect at the pump!

I’ve just been to the petrol station and filled up my car, bought some other things, got to the till and paid for everything and it wasn’t till I got to my car and looked at the pump when I noticed the fuel price was at 12.9p a litre!
Will I be contacted by the police or anyone as I have paid for the goods but they’ve made a mistake on the fuel price, all I’ve done is pay what was asked of me.

Also I’d like to apologise for my wording, the post reads really badly but I can’t figure out how to edit it haha0

How much did you actually pay vs what the unit price was on the pump? Did you actually pay at a rate of £0.129, or did you pay for fuel at the rate of £1.129 and there was just an error on the display on the pump?chrisgrim2707 said:I’ve just been to the petrol station and filled up my car, bought some other things, got to the till and paid for everything and it wasn’t till I got to my car and looked at the pump when I noticed the fuel price was at 12.9p a litre! Will I be contacted by the police or anyone as I have paid for the goods but they’ve made a mistake on the fuel price, all I’ve done is pay what was asked of me.0 -
Well I paid £7 for fuel some milk and chocolate. Pretty sure it was set at 12.9p0

Didn’t notice how much I paid till I got home, I rarely pay attention to be honest, just give my pump number and tap my phone haha0

I never get a receipt, thought I’d just check my bank when I got home0

The police certainly will not be involved, you paid the filling station the amount you were asked to pay. The cashier sounds clueless if they didn't realise the pump price was incorrectly set.chrisgrim2707 said:Will I be contacted by the police or anyone as I have paid for the goods but they’ve made a mistake on the fuel price, all I’ve done is pay what was asked of me.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

If they were/are selling fuel at 12.9p per litre I think it would be all over social media etc by now0

I’m guessing it wasn’t deliberate and was a technical error somewhere...photome said:If they were/are selling fuel at 12.9p per litre I think it would be all over social media etc by now0
