  • Just a quick update and further question if i may.

We did submit a ‎mandatory reconsideration in March this year and this is still being considered, during which time they have been taking deductions at a pro rata for the estimated amount of this years over payment which i believe is wrong but can be sorted out independently on the decision being made. ‎

‎My daughter has chased them up via the online journal and spoken with her case worker who has admitted that this is dragging on and should not take this long. ‎

‎Is there a specific time limit for them coming to a decision which i am sure they will come up with the usual covid excuses or do i get my mythical complaint pen out of hibernation

    Thanks

The DWP have no time limits for dealing with MR's (although they impose time limits on their customers).

Involving your MP often seems to speed things up.
