Auntie Google showed me this: -
If you have E82 appearing on your display follow the below instructions.
    1. Press and hold the room stat jogger for 3 to 5 seconds.
    2. Timer symbol, standby symbol and party mode will flash along with NODE
    3. Scroll jogger wheel anticlockwise two clicks and PL should appear on the screen flashing.
    4. Press the jogger wheel.
    PASS will flash.
    5. Turn the Jogger wheel clockwise until 18 appears in the screen.
    6. Press the jogger wheel to accept code.
COUP C04 Should show on the display.
    7. Press the jogger wheel to accept.
The display should show 4 numbers with two dashes in the display.
    8. At this point go to the receiver and press and hold the button on the receiver until it flashes GREEN AND AMBER.
The room stat should now show 4 numbers plus the two dashes should now read 01 to 5 and so on.
    9. Press the jogger wheel on the room stat to accept.
    COUP C04 Will appears.
Now leave the room stat for several minutes and the display will revert back to the main screen.
Now test the room stat by putting the stat in to party mode and joggle the stat up and down pressing the joggle wheel to select desired temperature you will then see if the receiver and room stat have paired.
Depending whether the room stat is calling for heat or not calling for heat will determine the way the LED’s are flashing on the receiver unit.
Not calling for heat (OFF) LED’s will be solid Green with flashing amber.
Calling for Heat (ON) LED’s will Green red and amber
Seems like a pairing fault, often caused by low battery.
