Universal Credit Limited Capability & Up coming review?

Hello everyone I hope you are all keeping safe during these hard times. I have two questions that I hope you can help me with
I havent been able to work due to Doctors orders during the pandemic, this is due to me having a heart attack in 2017 and having a form of heart failure, my GP has deemed it too dangerous for me to go out in to my line of work (Tiling & labouring on construction sites), So I signed up for UC last year and then a couple of months down the line they contacted me to ask me if i can start looking for work, to which I explained everything and showed them a Unfit for work note each month, I was then contacted to fill in the booklet about my health and had a phone interview and a couple of weeks later in Feb just gone, I was places on The Limited Capability for work and was told I wouldnt be contacted again until May. Can I just ask, should I be receiving anymore money than the usual UC payment for this or does it remain the same?

Also, yesterday morning i received a note on my account to tell me on April 5th, I would recieve a call to conduct a review of the information on my UC claim, Why? Do they suspect I have been up to something I should not have been? Because I havent and can provide any proof they wish to see. Im just highly confused by this.

Thank you for any help, it is much appreciated.

Jay

If you have been found to have Limited Capability for Work (LCW) but not Limited Capability for Work and Work Related Activity (LCWRA) then there is no extra money payable.

DWP are working through lots of claims made last year because during the pandemic not all the normal procedures were followed. They will want to check information and may ask you to provide some documentation which would normally be required at the start of the claim but which has been taken on trust so far.

Thank you so much for you reply. It means a lot. I left a note on my account for them to reply to me about the extra payment question but so far didnt hear anything back, and okay thats seems to be a releif, only for the reason I would hate to think they believe I have been working, or earning money during my claim etc.. I have quite a lot of fit notes they didnt check but I kept saved etc also. So we shall see.

That's exactly the sort of thing they may now want to see. Normally you would have had an appointment at the JobCentre and taken them in. They may now want you to upload them so they can be verified..
