I'm a regular wine orderer with Aldi, and up until only last weekend, enjoyed if you spent more than £30 on an order, you automatically got free standard delivery. I've just noticed that Aldi has just changed this to this..... just a warning to all

Thanks for this. Living in such a rural area I am a bit out of touch. I didn’t even know Aldi did wine deliveries! As a result of this thread I have now ordered a mixed case of wine, even throwing in a bottle each of brandy and gin for good measure, it is all far cheaper than my usual Sunday Times Wine club order. The delivery charge is very reasonable, considering where we are.I’m well impressed.Off to cancel my STWC subscription now!1

Thanks for that rachael, noticed yesterday when i was placing an order. Do not want to pay this but cant find anywhere else as cheap. If anyone knows please advise0

Well that was a bit sneaky. If I'd known that I would have ordered double last time.0

Bit sneaky! I just discovered the delivery charge as I did my wine order. Not sure I'll carry on with buying from them or simply order wine with my grocery delivery from Sainsbury's or Waitrose, or order from a wine company. I kept thinking I had done something wrong or that it would be deducted - but No!0

It also seems to apply to anything you order on Aldi website, it used to be free delivery over £300

I was disappointed that Aldi didn't put some form of explanation for the change. They seem to be hoping people won't notice. Most stores offer some sort of discount or free delivery based on order value.

They still do free delivery over £30 but "exclusions apply". Booze is an exclusion 😢0

I've found that Sainsbury's has at least two wines for £4.50/bottle. If they're any good, I'll be switching to Sainsbury's. My wife gets free deliveries from Sainsbury's; but if yours doesn't, you can still get a £1 delivery from Sainsbury's.0
