Looks like they already have an app and a new one is coming along soon too.
Think that is just the US one. Not yet a UK one

The James Shack videos I have seen are not "click bait". Vanguard are the large well known company that started "index funds". The VLS fund mentioned is a ready made portfolio, suitable for those that want to keep investing simple or are starting out investing. Other companies sell Global Multi Asset Funds. For example there are the HSBC "Global Strategy Funds".

You may find the following of interest,   https://www.kroijer.com/

    They didn't quite start them.

  • Cannot be bothered with them myself. Much prefer my two large desk top monitors. The novelty will pass.
    Agreed.
I hate mobiles / tabs for any kind of important searching.
Even laptops to be honest, although they're a million times better than mobiles and tabs.

The speed and accuracy of PC browsing and just the overall experience is so much better.

A Global Multi Asset Fund with a share/bond split you are comfortable with seem a reasonable suggestion.
Another option might be a Target Retirement Fund.
Out of interest which you tube video did you watch?

So basically some wannabe youtuber gets paid by Vanguard to promote their product and low and behold he tells you that the Vanguard product is the only product you will ever need.
Vanguard themselves spend little on marketing.
They don't even have an app!

Try three large widescreens.  I thought two was good but once you experience three, there is no looking back. ;)

God, if it's not IT geeks, it's traders... I'm surrounded with people in my profession using tech (and monitors seem to be the standard currency) to compensate for something...  ;)

Not enough room at home. Nor can I can afford the cost of subscribing to live market data feeds.  :'(

Right screen for the document management and occasional browser window.  middle screen for the main use and left screen for the horse racing.

  • Sounds bad advice. Suppose the fund you settled on had been Woodford?

Agree with the multiple screens philosophy. I have two 27 inch monitors. Terry Pratchett, the late author, used six (6)!  Now, that was impressive!
