It’s very unlikely you will get it back I’m afraid.0

Just a thought but is the payment waiting to be collected or is the hotmail address actually registered with paypal? The only reason I ask is that I send a payment to a wrong address using f&f but because the address I used wasn't actually registered it was sat as pending and I was therefore able to cancel the payment1

The money payment sent to wrong email address is Hotmail, showing as sent!0

It might be worth logging into your account using the website as I know I was convinced it had been sent but it was only when I logged into the proper site did it show as the payment waiting to be collected.adeo said:The money payment sent to wrong email address is Hotmail, showing as sent!
If it has been collected then you're relying on their honesty to refund it.
One last thought would it be worth sending them a normal email rather than a message through paypal - I'm not sure I would even spot that I had a message waiting for me in my paypal account let alone being able to read/respond to it

and a company as large and far reaching as PayPal is having glitches sending payments to random people and not fixing it for them? I work in software as well and this would be a major incident.ThumbRemote said:
As someone who works in software, I absolutely believe it could happen. Not saying it did happen here, but it certainly could.ashe said:Sorry but as someone that does PayPal payments daily I just can’t believe it
adeo, can you clarify how similar the email addresses are? And did you type in the email address or the recipients name?0
